Stamp pads and stamping – Toddler fun!

Babies, before they start loving everything messy, have a slightly more complicated relationship with gooey, sticky textures. No? ok at least mine did, both of them. V (as we’ll call my older son) was very clear, he wanted nothing to do with anything sticky till he was almost 3 years old. One dot, two dots, three dots, more dots art

In looking to find simple, easy ways for my pre-schooler and toddler to work together on art, pointilism or dot art by The Artful Parent gave us a great start. Paints, especially water colours are one of our favourite art media mainly because the colours are so rich, a little bit goes a long way, it offers a lot of great colour options and cleans fast.
